Why nail trims matter
When nails get long they press into the ground with every step. That can push the toes out of line, make walking uncomfortable and cause slips on tile and wood floors. Regular trims keep paws healthy and your floors safer too.
Plenty of dogs do not love having their feet handled. Amanda works one-on-one, quietly and patiently, so your pup is not rushed or crowded. It is one of the reasons she built her shop around a calm, stress-free space.
- Nails trimmed carefully to a comfortable length
- On its own or added to a bath, blow out or full groom
- Patient handling for nervous pups
How often?
Most dogs need a nail trim every three to six weeks, depending on how fast their nails grow and how much they walk on pavement. If you can hear your dog's nails clicking on the floor, it is time.

Common questions
Can I bring my dog in just for a nail trim?
Yes. Choose Nail trims in the request form and pick a time during open hours.
My dog hates nail trims. What should I do?
Mention it in your request. Amanda goes slowly, works one-on-one and keeps the space calm.
Can nails be trimmed during a full groom?
Yes, nails are part of every full groom.
What if I accidentally let them get very long?
It happens. Regular trims every few weeks will help them get back to a comfortable length over time.
